If you are a postal employee (or a concerned American Citizen) please check out this site. It may help you save the United States Postal Service as we know it today. [No Comments]

The Consumer Alliance for Postal Services (CAPS) was founded in 2003 to protect affordable and dependable mail service for all Americans. In 2002, President Bush appointed a presidential commission to study and report on possible postal reforms that could redefine universal service. Universal service is defined as the same postal services at uniform prices for all citizens, and is the tenet on which the United States Postal Service was formed over 230 years ago. CAPS members include the AFL-CIO, the American Postal Workers Union, the A. Phillip Randolph Institute, Consumer Action and the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare, and other organizations. Former Representative William L. Clay Sr., former chairman of the House Post Office and Civil Service Committee is the chairman of CAPS.

Please... Check out: Consumer Alliance for Postal Services (CAPS). The Presidential Commission is way off-base when it comes to Postal Reform.
